Pocketpair has announced that a new update for Palworld, titled Tides of Terraria, will launch on 25 June. This major crossover brings content from Terraria into the world of Palworld, and an animated trailer has been released to show off what’s coming.

In the trailer, characters from Palworld are seen exploring a dungeon where they discover Terraria’s Terra Blade. The Eye of Cthulhu also makes an appearance, along with a shadow that looks a lot like the Moon Lord. It’s a hint that dangerous bosses from Terraria will play a part in this crossover adventure.

Palworld and Terraria collide in the Tides of Terraria update

The update adds content from Terraria, the best-selling adventure game that has sold over 60 million copies worldwide. Players will be able to interact with monsters from Terraria in the same way they do with Pals—capturing, training, battling, and working with them.

Alongside the crossover features, the update will include new Pals, new islands, and more content that hasn’t been detailed yet. Pocketpair says more information will be shared through its official social media channels in the coming weeks.

Right now, Palworld is available at 25% off on Steam and the PlayStation Store. The discount offers a good opportunity for new players to jump in ahead of the update.

Palworld is in Early Access and available on PlayStation 5, Xbox, and PC through Steam and the Microsoft Store. It is also available through Game Pass.
